Currency Trading? I currently trade on the stock market but I am interested in currency trading. I would like to know if it is similar to trading stock in which you trade using an online broker and if so what brokers are the best to use with the lowest commission fees?
Any one know about Forex Currency Trading? I would like to know any important details about Forex, mainly costs of commision fees if there are any (I am sure there are) and if this is the best choice for currency trading. Thanks!
What is the best site for trading stocks and currency exchange? I am completely new to the world of trading stocks or currency, but I want to get started. I see ads for all these different websites (ameritrade, etrade, etc.), and I was wondering, which (if any) would be the best for a beginner? I'm not looking to get rich quick, but I would like to start investing my money for the long term. Also, which if any of these sites offers a way to trade currencies? Ideally, I would become a member of the site with the best combination of both of these (trading stocks and currency). Thanks
Why should $ USD be the trading currency for all our international transaction? All our international transaction occurs in USD & not in INR. This occurs no matter whom we trade with. For example we buy crude oil from Saudi Arabia, yet we pay them in $ & not in Rial or INR. Why should we use $ in payment, why not INR or some other country be the trading currency. This not the case with India, all over the world they do this. Other dominant currency is euro. But why should international monetory be controled by rich nations, why not it be poor nation. Why should a fate of one country be decided by other country ?
Where can i find a currency trading expert? If i have a good amount of capital and want to trade the currency market but have a bit of knowledge but not as much as an expert , Where could i find someone who can teach me and get paid for their time teaching me? I'm in Ireland
How risky is currency trading? I recently tried out a currency traiding simulator created by a company named ACM and made a considerable amount of money ( unfortunately none of it real as it was only a simulator). THis has left me wondering whether to start up an account with them and start currency trading. But I am worried about losing all my savings. Everything went extremely well on the simulator, but does anyone know how risky it might be?
Anyone currently doing any Forex currency trading? As with any investment, I understand there are risks. However, I am seriously considering taking the online training course offered by Forex on Currency Trading. It seems too easy to make money and I believe there must a catch. I'm only going to invest what I can afford to LOSE! But I would love to hear from someone already trading or have traded!
Currency Trading: is it a viable long term way to make money from home? I went to an introduction to FOREX (foreign exchange) class recently and they were telling us how with a good education in FOREX you can consistently make money, and good money too, since you are trading 50 or 100 times what you have in your trading account. The complete course is $2000 and they were pushy for us to take the class so I didn't feel so confident about it, but i read up on the subject a bit and did a trial trade for about 30 days, I was up a lot at one point (about $8000) but in the end of the month i pretty muich broke even. WIth more knowledge and a proper education on the subject can it be a long term way of makin money? DEAR ALL, thanks for your responses, overall you seem to think currency trading is high risk and not really a viable way of making money from home. I should have mentioned in my question that if i were to do it, i would want to rely more on technical analysis and all the ratios and different theorems etc. I would also be making trades that are from about 30 minutes to at most one day. Does this change anyones opinion on the subject?
Can you tell me about Forex and currency trading? I really should get more educated before I decide if I would like to do this. Basically if you could give me a brief overview of currencty trading. Also, how much would I need to have in my forex account to actually make it worth the time and effort of trading and to be able to make any money? I'm a college student so a couple hundred bucks is probably all I could put in adn that's even stretching it a little.
Does anybody here earn money from currency trading? I don't want to see a lot of stupid adverts for forex. Is there anybody here who has consistently earnt money on leveraged forex trading? Does anyone here invest in forex currency trading where you just invest and they trade it for you.? I saw a few in a google search talked about 20% returns and stuff but they were not in the US. I don't want to risk anything outside the USA. Please only reply if you have done it or are currently doing it. Please post links of anyone you recommend. thanks As I said please don't reply if you have no "DIRECT" experince with investing in one of these. I know the risk's i'm looking for a ligitimate company that's why I asked for someone that is doing it. I don't have time to trade it my self I already trade futures this is for someone else that has an extra 50k to risk. That link doesn't work to the blog.

Currency/Forex trading company in Las Vegas? Is it normal to have a currency trading and currency trading based investment business based in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is the sin city, is it logical to assume then that a trading and thus speculation company is possibly not legitimate and is operating more of a gamblers multi level marketing, pyramid scheme type of gig other than running a legitimate investment operation?

Leverage and currency trading???!? Just been interested in currency trading, so I have just began some research. When you trade with leverage, you are essentially borrowing money from the broker to trade with to increase your profits. But, what if you lose all your deposits, are you required to pay for the leverage you've been borrowing with? Is using leverage risky, or are you not required to pay this back to the broker? some clarification please guys??

Can anyone give me some sound advise on currency trading? I have heard quite a lot about this and have seen friends making lots of money trading currencies, any advise on how to get into this type of trading without risking too much personal capital? Thank you Many of you tell me to not get into currency trading, for whatever reason you have for saying this, personally, I thrive on taking gambles, and if I can learn how to trade currencys the right way, before I get too involved, then I am a very quick learner and should do quite well. I do appreciate your candid replies, but being negitive about getting into this field is not answering my question.

It will help if you could give a link to somewhere I could read about in detail and understand better . The whole idea is if some method was more profitable , it will be preferred and hence all rates will come to be same because of the way in which free market works.
Forex Currency Trading? I am looking into opening an account with forex and I had a few questions. I have on of their practice accounts and I like it but some times the exchange rates do not change. The rates freeze up from time to time. Why is this? Is the market closed at some time? Also is this just with my practice account or does this happen with live accounts too. Another question is what is the minimum investment that you can start an account with and be able to trade? I know its like $250 or something, but when you trade, the smallest amount is like $100,000. I know that with leverage that can be $1,000 but is there any way to get that lower? Thanks for any responses!
Forex Currency Trading? I read everywhere that 95% of forex traders are losing money. Why is that? I have one of their practice accounts and I have a huge profit so far. Is the practice account really live exchange rates or is it rigged to make you think that you can really make money?
Forex/Currency Trading Question (see details)? Is there ever a situation where (assume all exchange rates are hypothetical) you could trade $10 US for 5 Euros, then trade those 5 Euros for 1000 yen, then trade those 1000 yen for $20 US (all trades happening as quickly as possible, maybe within seconds), i.e. the exchange rates don't all agree at any given single moment in time. Some times I hear that the US dollar went up against the yen bet fell compared to the Euro, does this automatically mean that the Euro also went up compared to the Yen? Do exchange rates only take into account the two countries whose currencies are being compared, or do they also affect other countries indirectly? Thanks.
