where is the best and safest place to buy foreign currency?

i'm looking for a website that isn't a scam that will allow me to buy foreign currency (pounds and euros) without huge fees. the website i have found so far with the lowest fees is wells fargo currency exchange. does anyone know of another website that will let you buy foreign currency as close to the exchange rate as possible? thanks for the help!

6. I never buy currency before traveling. I always use my cash card and get cash in country. I've attached a great site that lets you know what the current exchange rate is in all countries..

8. Check out Man Financial (no man global). Im not sure if you are trying to be your own trader. Or just trying to exchange money. Im not sure what you are doing or what you are trading. You might be able to find a licensed trader that will trade it for you for a couple of pips. If you are talking a few hundred then clearly dont call them. Im just not sure of what you are looking to do. If you are just looking to change for real currency and not trade Wells Fargo is good enough. 9. why don't you just buy on forex? It's safe, cheaper, and since you're seeking to buy multiple currencies, perhaps as a hedge, you don't have to physically take the currency.
10. ask your personal banker . keep in mind that you can ask more than one banker and negotiate.
